Last updated: 17 August 2026. This policy describes how CIBS handles personal information. It is written for our operations in Western Australia and is not legal advice.
1. Who we are
This policy is issued by Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 61 655 858 325) of 7 Tomlinson Rd, Welshpool WA, Australia ("CIBS", "we", "us"). We operate from Western Australia.
Privacy contact: admin@cibs.au. Website: www.cibs.au.
2. The laws we follow
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Commercial electronic messages are sent in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Western Australia does not have a separate private-sector privacy statute that applies to this form. Complaints about private-sector privacy are made to us first, then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). The WA Information Commissioner deals with Western Australian public-sector information, not CIBS as a private company.
We also follow widely recognised privacy standards: collect only what we need, use it for a stated purpose, keep it secure, tell you if it is disclosed overseas, and let you access, correct or ask us to destroy or de-identify it when we no longer need it.
3. What this policy covers
This policy applies to personal information collected through our public brochure request page at /booth-sign-up and related enquiries. Personal information means information about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.
We do not collect sensitive information (for example health, racial or religious information) on this form. We do not seek personal information from children. If you are under 18, please do not use this form.
4. What we collect and why (APP 3 and APP 5)
When you request brochures we collect, directly from you:
- first name and last name (required)
- company name (required)
- phone number (required)
- email address (required)
- which brochures you selected
- whether you have given express consent to marketing emails (unchecked unless you tick the box)
- the date and time of your request
We use this information only to:
- email you the brochures you asked for
- keep a record of the enquiry within the CIBS group
- send marketing emails about CIBS products and services only if you have given express consent
Name, company, phone, email and at least one brochure are required so we can fulfil your request. If you do not provide the required details, we cannot send the brochures.
You cannot deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym on this form (APP 2), because we need a real name, company, phone number and email address to send the files.
5. How we use and disclose information (APP 6)
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for purposes outside the CIBS group (that is, Conveyor Integrated Business Solutions Pty Ltd and the brands and services we operate). We do not disclose it to unrelated organisations for their own marketing.
We may disclose personal information:
- to our service providers, who process it only on our instructions (hosting and email delivery)
- if required or authorised by Australian law, a court or tribunal
- to reduce a serious threat to life, health or safety, where the Privacy Act allows it
6. Direct marketing and the Spam Act (APP 7)
Brochure emails are sent because you asked for those files. They are not marketing messages.
Marketing emails are sent only with your express consent (the marketing box on the form, which is off by default). Each marketing message will identify CIBS and tell you how to opt out. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing admin@cibs.au. We will stop marketing to that address promptly.
7. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)
Enquiry records are stored in Australia (our database is hosted in the Sydney region).
To deliver email we use Resend. That provider may process your name, email address and the fact of the send outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps so that the recipient handles it in a way that is consistent with the APPs, as required by APP 8.
8. Quality, security and retention (APP 10 and APP 11)
We take reasonable steps to make sure personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, up to date and complete for the purpose we are using it.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access to enquiry records is restricted. This website uses essential cookies only on the public booth and privacy pages. We do not place marketing pixels or advertising cookies on those pages.
We keep enquiry records only while they are reasonably needed for the purposes above (including to show that we had consent, where relevant). We then destroy or de-identify them, unless Australian law requires us to keep them longer.
9. Access, correction and deletion (APP 12 and APP 13)
You may ask us to:
- give you access to the personal information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date
- destroy or de-identify it if we no longer need it for a permitted purpose (APP 11.2)
Email admin@cibs.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If we refuse a request where the Privacy Act allows us to, we will tell you why (unless it is unreasonable to do so) and how to complain.
10. Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, please write to admin@cibs.au. We will investigate and respond.
If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the OAIC: www.oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
This policy is governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
